Most of our modules accept 3-wire or 4-wire PT100/PT1000 RTDs, 10kΩ or 3kΩ NTC thermistors, and vibrating wire temperature sensors that output frequency signals. If you have a sensor with a non-standard curve, we can pre-load the calibration coefficients at the factory.
Standard modules typically come in 8, 16, 32, or 64-channel versions. Channel count affects scan rate slightly—a 64-channel module might take 2–3 seconds for a full cycle. For larger arrays, you can stack multiple modules on the same RS-485 bus.
RS-485 with Modbus RTU is the default because it works over long distances. We also offer SDI-12 for environmental stations and 4–20 mA outputs for direct PLC connections. Tell us your existing data logger model and we’ll match the setting.
The module itself is DIN-rail mount and meant to go inside a weatherproof enclosure. It operates from -40°C to 85°C, but you’ll need to provide a dry, ventilated cabinet in the field. We can recommend housing specs if you share the site conditions.
